The Uncle Bill Gallagher Memorial Award is named for an outstanding member of the American Green Technology family who lived the story of American Green Technology. Because of Bill Gallagher’s unwavering tenacity, fortitude and fighting spirit, we would like to reward similar qualities in our Outstanding Employee of the Year. This person should be tireless in their efforts to educate the world about our company. They should be a servant leader, and go above and beyond the call for his colleagues and customers.
Amy Steenbeke started working for AGT in November of 2013 in the accounting department. Her enthusiasm to take on any task outside of her standard duties of accounts receivable specialist made her stand out immediately. She would volunteer to help clean the warehouse, build product and deliver to sales people. A few months ago, Amy was tasked with heading up the inside sales/customer service function in addition to her accounting responsibilities. With her usual positive attitude and fearless demeanor, Amy dove in with both feet and was successful from day one. There wasn’t a hitch in the system during the transition when Amy took over the position and she quickly upgraded the processes in place and improved communication immensely. Amy delivers service with a smile, which is the AGT way. She is always eager to spread the word of AGT!
Please take a moment to congratulate Amy Steenbeke, Winner of the 2015 Uncle Bill Gallagher Award!
This year, we also have a runner-up for the award. DeAngelo Simmons has worked in the Clarksdale facility on the production line as a manufacturing associate since September of 2014. His easy-going personality and willingness to support his co-workers whenever asked make him a favorite amongst his peers. DeAngelo is hard-working, smart and has a strong understanding of the HRMS line. His generous smile helps to make him the ‘go-to” person for the team. AGT would like to congratulate DeAngelo Simmons on this well-earned acknowledgement from his peers!
